TIER 2 GENERAL TRANSFER TO NEW EMPLOYER

Post by gauravrajwanshi » Mon Jul 18, 2011 2:16 pm

I would like to know if this is legal:

I have a tier-2 general visa stamped on my passport from emaployer A. Earlier I travlled UK from this employer. Now I am out of UK however my visa is still valid for next 6 months.

Now Employer B has offered me that he can transfer my visa to his company name. But for that he said I need to first travel to UK on my existing tier-2 and stay there for 10 days.

Now I would like to know if it is legal to travel to UK on my existing tier-2 without knowledge of my existing employer. What can be the legal issue I may need to face.

New employer says it is abosultely legal and he said I can check this with any lawyer in the UK. However I dont have any lawyers contact details to get this confirmed.
