Redirections of Letters..

Hey.

I applied for my post study visa two weeks ago and waiting for Home office

reply. The problem is i redirected all my mails at the starting of this year to

another address through post office. Just wondering if this will affect the

delivery of my resident permit ( I.D card ) as i have noted previously, that

it is a private company that delivers it but not royal mail?

Will they know where to deliver my mail to the new address?

Redirection will not work for the residence permit as it is delivered by courier not royal mail and has to be signed for. Why didn't you put your actual address on the form?

Whats the best thing to do? should i get hold of the company or contact the

home office on their customer service number?

Where are you actually living? Do i understand you correctly in thinking you put your old address on the form even though you had already moved out? If so why?

no it wont affect..They wont deliver your resident permit to a third party..you need to show some proof that its you or need to authorise someone...yu will get a email notification from the courier company to collect it from the nearest office ..you will also get a sms on your mobile no

I just pray the courier company contact me, as i wouldn't like to

complicate matters in regard to the changes made...

Yes ..i know about this thats why i replied in detail.

same happened to one of my friend and he was afraid that he will miss it but the courier company tried to delibver on his old address but he tenants couldnt provide id proof so they just sent him sms and email to collect it from nearby office ..he collected it from the courier office near Holborn

Hey all..

I received my Visa today. I thanks God for that.

I got my documents i.e acknowdege letter and pass port back through

redirections. Resident permit doesn't work with redirections as it is

a private company. I had to arrange to collect my residential Permit

on the nearest Courifer office...
