Hi,
On the application, it says
What is the main purpose of your visit to the UK? - what do I write? I want to live there?
How long do you intend to stay in the UK? - i dont have dates, I want want to move there.
They also ask for dates of arrival in England - but I have no definite dates yet, it could be 6 months from now. - what do I enter?
Thanks

None of these questions have a legal basis. Not answering them should therefore not influence the outcome.

If text is expected then "N/A. Not required for EEA regulations based applications.".
If a date is required, you will need to put some dates.

I do not know how strict that online system checks the input. Write something like "n/a" or a nonsensical date. The "reason field" probably allows free-form anyway. At the end of the process print the form and if necessary replace any pages that you do not like. Sign it and bring it to the appointment.
This procedures is only necessary anyway to just get to that appointment making page. The consulate will eventually have to accept the form that you have signed even if they can look at an electronic version.

This is for EEA Family Permit applied outside the UK. Not the application for Residence Card/PR.

The original post suggests that it is indeed a EEA FP application. Right shiloberg?

Well, the first check would be to see if a particular country's consulate supports online information. Obviously not in
Germany.
