Previous Work Experience Query

Hello All,

I am new to this forum and I have a Query regarding Work Experience for HSMP under 28 categories.

I have a total of 6+ years of Experience with 2 years in a Senior Role and currently working in UK on a Work Permit.

Break-up of my Work Experience -

1st Job – 2.2 Yrs in the role of a Software Engineer
2nd Job – 4.5 yrs exp, current position Software Specialist

I know I am eligible for 50 points for my Work Experience, but there is a hitch, my Current Organisation would not be providing/Issuing any Reference letters for my current work/role.

Question – Can I show my 1st Organisation Work Experience/Reference Letter and claim 25 points for “2 years full time graduate level work experience”.

Please let me know if this can be done or any cases that have passed through using this option.

If that can be done, I would still be eligible for HSMP
Age Under 28 – 5
Bachelors Degree – 15
Work Experience – 25
Salary Above £27000 (Current organisation) – 25

Hi Ravs_Uk,

You can tell HSMP that you have 6+ years experience, but onlu provide them your 1rs job refference letter. Also if you have contract from your 2nd job include it. HSMP just will consider your 2 year experiencr.
