Confusion regarding SOC Code 1121. Please help !!!

Post by dr_fish13 » Fri Jul 22, 2011 7:00 pm

Dear all,

I'm with PSW visa which ll expire afrer 1 year. I'm still not sure which track should I choose. I need help here please.

'' I'm working as an Operation manger for a fast food chain franchisee comepany which has two stores and 27 employees. As the owner is busy with his other business, I'm the one to take care of daily operation, supplies, maintenance, employee hiring and training, etc. SOC Code for operation mangers is 1121 (http://www.statistics.gov.uk/methods_qu ... ol2_V6.pdf) and this code is listed on Tier 2 graduate occupational codes of practice version 04/11(http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... iew=Binary ) but it is under the manufacturing job sector (section C - Manufacturing http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... iew=Binary ) not under Section I: Accommodation and food service activities . Salary is not a issue as the company is growing and there ll be increment before my employer apply for CoS for me''

My confusions are
1. Am I still going to be qualified for Tier 2 !!
2. Will there be any problem to get the lisence for my company as right now it is still a small company. Even though it has all the documents required by home office !!!

Your prompt reply would be highly appreciated.
Thanks

You will be able to apply once company get the license

Make sure your company provide the relevant documents and pay the appropriate fee about £300 for small companies
