Confused! Help..

Hi guys,
I am just confused about my current situation. I was given a CAS by my sponsor with a course started in September 2010 - June 3, 2011. That's why the HO granted me a visa plus additional 2 months (my visa will expire on the 3rd of August). I have to do 2nd attempt. They will release a new CAS with new course end date for our extension. My question is, if my new course end date that will show in my CAS is August 31 or September 1, is it counted as 1 month extension? or 2 months (from June - the original course end date)?
