Natwest Bank Statement HELP.

Post by hopeful01 » Wed Jul 27, 2011 1:04 pm

I have recently sent a PSW visa application but am getting slightly worried about my bank statements.

I asked natwest to send me bank statements covering a 90 day period (in-fact the statement I received was more than 90 days)

The worry I have is that the bank statements I received were different to those I usually receive from Natwest (ie no summary sheet etc) but did include the following:

(1) your name
(2) the account number
(3) the date of the statement
(4) the financial institution's name and logo
(5) transactions covering the three-month period
(6) that there is enough funds present in the account; and
(7) that there has been enough money present in the account for the past three months.

I dont think it included point (2) "the date of the statement" as it was a requested bank statement from Natwest not the one they regularly send my post every month...

I was wondering whether this would be a problem??? and whether I should have stamped it??

Any help would be appreciated - I think I may be worrying too much...

There was no covering letter unfortunately... but as soon as I found my monthly statements, ie 1 week after biometrics, I sent those in as an addition to my application. Dont know whether they will consider it but I sent it regardless - It shouldnt harm my application I hope..

OK I have just had my visa application approved.

So to anyone out there who has any doubt what so ever about natwest bank statements they can be assured that a statement sent to them by natwest through postal service covering a 3 month period is FINE and will be OK!!

It was in a form of a 10 page document on a natwest letterhead showing the transaction history and balances throughout the 3 month period...
