Don't worry, you will be okay. The closing balance on 1 Aug '11 of £807.85 would be taken into account for your application. This is specified in the PSW Guidance. Check point 101 on page 20 - "Where an applicant is providing evidence of maintenance from a single account, we will always assess the funds available to an applicant from the closing balance given on the document provided."vinoit wrote:Hi to all,

The rules also say that the funds have to be held on a consecutive 90 day period. The section you have quoted is referring to when an applicant submits statements from more than one account.zen135 wrote:Don't worry, you will be okay. No, I'm not referring to point 102 which refers to statements from more than one account.Greenie wrote:The rules also say that the funds have to be held on a consecutive 90 day period. You are ignoring para 94 which also states that the required amount must be held for a consecutive 90 day period. The rules also state this. Para 101 of the guidance just explains the date from which they will count back the 90 days i.e. From the closing balance. Try reading all of the guidance/rules rather than quoting one para out of context.zen135 wrote:No, I'm not referring to point 102 which refers to statements from more than one account.Greenie wrote:The rules also say that the funds have to be held on a consecutive 90 day period. Check point 101 again - "Where an applicant is providing evidence of maintenance from a single account, we will always assess the funds available to an applicant from the closing balance given on the document provided."

Thanks for your response buddy,arsenal49 wrote:unless you can PROVE that you had approx 2.15 quid in any other account to bring the total upto 800 pounds(when combined)...... your app would be rejected straight away
second option could be...
convince your bank to issue you a statement which only prints the amount at the end of the day.... so that statement would not have multiple transactions printed for 1st august and only the amount at the end of the business day....
Hi guys thanks for your valuable responses, I also heard that maintenance balance should not fall below 800 on any circumstances but i didn't know how much truth is that....Greenie wrote:You are ignoring para 94 which also states that the required amount must be held for a consecutive 90 day period.
