HSMP Applications with a job offer -Urgent Processing Option

Hi,

I have a 12 months contract offer and I need to start working within two weeks.

I was browsing HSMP web site and I noticed that the applications with a job offer attached can be processed urgently. But the web site does not indicate the time frame for 'urgent' applications.

Does anyone applied to HSMP with a job offer? How long did it take?

I was in a similar situation like you and last year it took about 2 weeks to receive back the documents and the magic letter from HO.

What if i'm in a job which states in my employment letter that i need further approval of stay to continue my job. Will attaching this letter help to expedite things? Pls help.

I think any document that can prove that you can do a job in UK is useful for HSMP application; I don't think will matter if is for a permanent job or not.
I'm not an expert but if I was you I'll send the original document attached to the application.
