tier1 visa holders terms and conditions

Does anyone know if for an Indian company which is not incorporated in UK is there anything legal that prevents them issuing an UK contract for someone holding a tier1?
I am being told unless someone has not spent a certain number of years under tier1 that this company cannot issue a pure UK contract and that it has got to be an Indian contract with deputation to UK.

Any hlep will be appreciated.

honestly the company should know whether it can hire you or not on a uk contact

They are saying that they cannot. Just wanted to get that confirmed if anyone has similar experience in this forum
