Salary Account in Debit

Post by Gerry2011 » Mon Aug 01, 2011 5:02 pm

Hello All,

My Current account where I receive my salary is in DEBIT most the time.
I do have Overdraft facility with the Bank.
Will this effect my ILR?

Many Thanks

Which visa are you on? because on visa types you may have to show maintenance fund. Unless you have another account that shows the maintenance fund then you could be in problem.

The Last 3 month should at least have some money in the account, I have similar issue, but I believe, the last 3 month is very important, when are you going to apply?

Don't worry then, make sure the last 3 month put some money in it, to be safe, keep minimal £800 available all the time for the last 3 month, if they ask about the month in debts, then just make up some reasons, usually, everyone has tight months in cash especially in England, people will undersand. But remember, the last 3 months, keep £800 all the time, no such a rule said, but to be safe to youself.
