I am a Sri Lankan currently in Sri Lanka.

I am planning to go to UK for a vist to meet my friend.

I have enough finance to spport me for my stay PLUS My friend will be
sponsour me to come and visit me , and provide his finance and sponour letter and invitation letter.

My Wife is a French who lives in france, and after my visit to UK I am planning to join with her. I have a French Long say visa that was issued to me last week. Anyway this is not related to my visit to UK it is a separate matter.

My Question is,

Do need to proved Finances , salary slips , and black statements of my wife when I am applying to UK visit visa ?
