Pakistani Applicants for UK Spouse Visa - What English test?

Post by enigma321 » Wed Aug 03, 2011 1:39 pm

Salaam all,

Just trying to find the best English test for my Wife in Pakistan to take to get her UK Spouse Visa.

Just wondering what test people who have got their visas took?

At the moment I am looking at BULATS, TOEIC or Pearson Test of English Academic. It will be for A1 level, just looking for easiest one.

Jazakallah.

You can try English for speakers of other languages (ESOL)

Who shall separate me from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? or even VISA REFUSAL?

Hmm, didn't realise that City and Guilds had a centre in Pakistan. I can't seem to find the information on the site. Does anyone have a link to it? Or maybe any Islamabad/Rawalpindi addresses for their centres?

I was considering BULATS for my wife to take but from the look of it, it is more for people coming on work viass. It is more business based. After I found that out, we decided to book TOEIC.
