a friend recently visited us, >>using this visa<<.
The Swiss Embassy that issued the visa asked the applicant to report back to the Embassy once back home.
They orally told him, when collecting the visa, that he must keep his boarding passes, and when back in the country to report back to the Embassy showing them all boardingpasses for both legs of the complete journey
- Is that part of an effort to establish whether he really left Schengenland?
- I wonder what is the legal basis for demanding this?
- Why did they ask him orally? (=no proof that this really happened)
- What could be the consequences of not doing so?!
