Tier1 extension income proof help

Post by cheerskuki » Fri Aug 05, 2011 4:50 pm

Hi folks,

1. my visa is going to expire on 2nd march 2012. Can I apply for extension in the last week of January (30-35 days before current visa expire date)?

2. reason for this is, I'm working in the present job from April 2011. And I dont have the P60 of 2010-11 (as of 31st march 2011) as my previous company as gone into administration they didt issued one. So, if I show sal from April 2011 to Jan 2012, it will cross £30k and I'll get points.

Will that be ok or will I need to show income for continuous 12 months?

Please suggest me.

Thanks

Hi Cheerskuki,

It does not have to be a full 12 month period you need to show, so go ahead and apply, as long as you get the required points from the months you use.

For more clarity, if you need to get £30,000 to claim the required points and you manage to get it in 6 months, you can apply for your visa with only the 6 months earning.

Kind Regards

1. You can apply for extension in Jan/Feb.
2. You can show less than 12 months earnings if you have enough earnings needed for extension.
If you are showing earnings till Jan. better to apply in early Feb. instead of last week of Jan.
