I want to apply for the visa of my 4 month old baby born in UK.

Will my baby require to appear in person for biometrics ?

I am not getting any PEO appointment for same day at Croydon. Are they available at Croydon ?

i think you need to apply same as you apply for any other dependent. i have read somewhere that you can leave it until unless you are wanting to travel in which it is good idea to get it done soon enough

Yes. I don't need to apply till I want to travel to India.

I called up HomeOffice and 2 people gave different advice.
One saying baby biometrics are not required as parents have Vignette on passport and another saying baby finger prints will be taken!

It's really odd.

Can anyone who has got their baby visa in UK please answer.

Hi Ash,

Yes your babu will need to be in person for BIO metrics . They only take the picture of the baby. The same was the case with me for my 5 month old baby. Hope this helps.
