Company name is different on contract and Emp Ref letter

Hello experts,

Please answer my small query kindly.

My company name is different on contract letter and employer reference letter due to change of company name since i joined this company.

On my employer reference letter they did mention that company was formerly called "abc" along with current company name.

So i am assuming it should be fine isn't ?

Please advise.

Suggest you go to the www.companieshouse.gov.uk website then click on "Go to WebCheck".

Then feed in the current company name. It should then show any previous name that the company has had. Assuming it shows the previous name, print that as proof that you are still employed by the same limited company.

Get a letter from HR to advise the HO of this. You can also add newspaper/media news if it was publicized.
