we booked a holiday to Greece and due to fly on 13th of September. and we don't know if i still have to make an appointment to apply for schengen visa. some says yes, some says no i need to. i checked on Greek embassy in Uk and just found this:

"FAMILY MEMBERS OF EU/EEA/CH NATIONALS DO NOT NEED AN APPOINTMENT IN ORDER TO APPLY FOR A SCHENGEN VISA"

which is which? how can i apply for my tourist visa?do i need an appoinment or'll just pop in the greek embassy visa consulate anyday to apply for it. So any answer or help will be life saving

If you are such a family member (you don't quite say...) you obviously do not need an appointment. If you hold a residence card and travel together with the EEA family member you would not need a visa (information on the same page).

Dear bobby1987,

welcome to the forum :!:

we would need quite a bunch of information to be able to tell you for sure. Starting with your nationalities.

When you are traveling outside your spouse's home country (in this case the UK), then you are definitely considered the family member of an EU citizen.

Sounds like you can get the visa without an appointment. Drop down on Monday! You need to make sure you take your passport, you spouse's UK passport and your marriage certificate.
