I applied for HSMP in April 2007 (2yrs)
I got the Tier i in Nov 2009 (3yrs)
The gap between April 2009 and Nov 2009 is due to appeal process

You don't fall under the HSMP JR therefore you have to achieve the required points to qualify for the ILR including LIUK test. The points criteria would be the same that were in place when you initially applied for the HSMP i.e. earnngs, age, qualification etc. You have to show HO wage slips, Bank statements, P60s, LIUK pass letter, letter from the employer (is sometimes required and sometimes not).

Sorry for inttruption but

My case is similiar, i applied for HSMP before Nov 2006 but it approved in Feb 2007, on the basis of conditions on pre Nov 2006.

My solicitor advised that its under JR pre Nov 2006.

Please advise, if i need to start worring

It doesn't matter when your application was approved. All that matters is when you applied.
Goodluck.
