1. Me and my british partner, i'm a filipino citizen and a spouse visa cardholder. I've been here in Uk since 2009. We booked an appointment at VFS global. but unfortunately they gave appointment 1 week before we fly off. so it's a hopeless case now really, please what to do now?ca.funke wrote:Hi bobby1987,bobby1987 wrote:we booked a 7nights holiday to spain, and due to fly on 12th of september. but got an appointment 6th of september, 1 week before to fly off. need a help and advice. thanks.
welcome to the forum
In order to be able to help, you´ll have to answer some questions:Basically, read this first:
- Who is "we"?
- What´s your nationality?
- What´s the 2nd person's nationality?
- Where are you now?
- What´s your status where you are now?
- You got the mentioned appointment where?

Can i try different embassies to apply for a visa to spain? Is that possible?ca.funke wrote:I would do the following:bobby1987 wrote:1. 1. If you can´t get the visa it in time, try to >>travel without visa<<
2. Try to get the visa anyway.
3. Why not try via one of the smaller Schengen-Embassies? Austria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg? As the spouse of an EU-citizen you don´t have to provide any papers, just your passports and the marriage -certificate. And this will equally take you into Spain.
I don´t see why you shouldn´t be travelling...
