Work permit holder - register a business

Hi all,
I am currently a work permit holder & I know that legally I am not allowed to setup a business in the UK.

I would like to export a car from UK to a non EU country and then reclaim VAT. A quick google suggests that you would need to be VAT registered to do this.

So I am thinking of registering a company and also register for VAT for the sole perpose of the above VAT reclaim. By doing so I am not sure whether I am engaging in a business or self-employed.

I would appreciate our expert advice on this matter please.

I would definitely try to get one of my mates who can legally set up a company to do that sort of stuff...

Wouldn't risk it - may regret it in future.

If you have dependent register business in their name dont take risk with your visa
