Do you know if they do any eye, finger print scans for passport applicants?

All my friends ask all these question; I've given them the impression its a matrix/Men in Black type sophisticated interview... just kidding...

A newly introduced rule requires finger prints for with visa renewal - at least a family memeber had to go to croydon to do this...

was wondering if something like this happen with the IPS>....

I have received my documents back. Not sure if the letter has come.

Just to re-confirm, I dont need to take any documents with me?

Nope - all you need is the confirmation letter

Did you also get your pasport and certificate back?

I just got the ref letter and the appt confirmation letter.

my documents have arrived today. I still haven't checked them. They came by courier. I thought the letter with reference no comes separately from courier. Also when I booked the appointment, I was told that there will be a letter they will send. I haven't received that either.

I m sure I read on the forum that we dont need anything

they send a letter with the ref number. I booked my appointment after I recvd that letter. The guy asked to bring ONLY that letter for the interview. No other docs required...

guys

just called IPS. They also asked me to take the letter with me. In absence of the letter, she said just take the reference no, which will be fine.

I think Jambo suggested the same.

Anyone who has done this, please comment

the nice lady at the phone couldn't give me any indication on how long it could take from here on. I think its progress...

I got in at Maidenhead,Kent. It was relatively easy. Plus I did it a week in advance so may be it was easier. But I don't see major obstacles for Sat appt,if you are willing to travel.

Good Luck
