I would, Land Registry letter costs £8 for my county.

Letter from mortgage company was free or around £5 if I recall.

£15ish for these 2 items just to be on the safe side and possibly help in saving you a further £1k in appeal fees and 8-10 months, I would definitely get it.

The English test providers do change, but if you go to a main centre, you'll be ok. The main ones don't change. You'll find in terms of changes, there are some really minor changes. But laws won't change till late Sept 2011 I heard, so I'd hang on till then.

Would it be fine to submit a letter of this years full bank statement and which also state how much mortgage is left to pay off
It's best to ask your Mortgage company to print off a Letter and post you. Just say you can't find your existing ones, and ask them to include everything in the contract.

The bank statement is to prove you have a steady income and savings not as a proof of where income is coming and going, those need to be done separately.

My wifes masters (from quaid e azam uni, isb) nor bachelors (AJK uni) were on the points calculator, but what we did was to submit the certificates, mark sheets and a letter from the uni's stating the degree's were taught in english.

To be fair the rest of my case was v strong, good comms, financials and accomodation proofs so i guess that helped us get the visa.

Its just all down to luck imo and a bit of divine assistance!

:( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

Hubby has just collected documents from Gerry's. Application REFUSED :( :(

2 points we were refused on:

1: Not providing original Education docs. Hubby gave attested copies.

2: Rental Agreement: I live with parents and sent a letter from my parents. But I have recently received letter from Landlord to say my Hubby can stay at property.

PLEASE Can you all help on what we should do next. We can meet the points we have been refused on.

Decision made 17/08/2011

:( Day before our 5th Wedding Anniversery, NICE.

hi

Sorry to hear it Khan

You need to lodge appeal within 28 days and give as much evidence as possible to support the reasons of refusal.

So sorry sister to her the bad news, Inshallah the decision will be overturned very soon for you.

By the way did they contact your husband to come so they could give him the decision/outcome? Or did he just decide to go and find out why they were taking so long?

I hope appeal goes smoothly for you Inshallah my dear sister.

Thank You for your Kind words. I'm not as Upset as I thought I would be LOL.
Just want to get all the info ready and lodge the appeal.

Hubby didn't send letter from Uni/College. But the point the ECO made was that in order to meet the english language requirements you had to provide ORIGINAL education docs. So shouldn't he just send his Original Degrees??? And just for the Cherry on the Top LOL should he just do the English language Test and attatch that too???

And about the Landlord. I spoke to them about my husband getting permission to stay when I was sending the documents to Hubby. And only have they they a couple of weeks ago sent back a letter to say YES that he has permission from them to stay at the property.
