Hello All,
I just wanted to let you all know (those who have been following) our story.
Today, after a 14 week wait (71 working days) my husbands UK Spouse Visa was granted.
We are so happy!!! I want to thank all those on here who have shown such support to us through this long wait.
I also wanted to say, that our Spouse Visa was not straight forward, as my husband had immigration history. He overstayed his visit visa for 9 months. We did the right thing, he returned to his home country Egypt, and there we got married, and there we applied for his visa.
We were honest from the start with our application, even with my husband writing a letter, explaining himself to the UKBA.
In honesty it has been the hardest 3 months of our marriage, being apart has not been easy... But we both agreed we had to take a step back, to take a bigger step forwards, and today this was confirmed.
I want to tell people, DO NOT be afraid to do the right thing... Yes it is a scary concept going back home, and not knowing if and when you will be coming home and be with your loved one. But knowing that you have done the right thing, will get you through.
I hope many people will follow this route..
Plus... if you can get through this together... you can get through ANYTHING!!
Thank you again
Charlotte and Tarek xxx
Alhamdulilah for habibi..
