Hi Guys

My very long wait is finally over and my prayers have been answered
My visa has been granted.

Application date: 28th April 2011
Application centre: Hyderabad vfs
Application processed: 9th August 2011
Application delivered: 10th August 2011

Total working days : 71

Belive in your Love, trust God he will answer your prayers

All the best to everyone who are waiting you will get your visas soon.
I will remember you all in my prayers.

Just got my daughter's settlemet visa.

Status changed: 9th August
That is 52 working days.

Hi Guys im new here but have looked at this forum and has been very helpfull, we will be applying for my wifes spouse visa on thurday but i see the BHC are taking very long in proccessing !!! good luck to all in the process

hey guys how are you. Went for the interview last week,luckily my wife came to mumbai aswell as she had some time off. The interview process was really long. The lady was really tough on us but we stayed positive and gave an honest response. They didnt give us a time scale on when they will reply, but they interviewed both of us. Lets keep our fingerscrossed and pray to god that we get our visas..

We've been watching this thread to get update on waiting time. Friend of mine got her spouse visa after 21 working days of submitting her visa application in VFS chennai office. we were really surpriced. was told when submitting the application that the processing time for settlement visa was 2 to 3 months.

Hi hmm, thanks for that information ! Can i ask on what date you subbmitted your application ? and on what date you recieved your passport with visa back ? i am a british citizen and we have just subbmitted my wifes application on monday 22/08/11. We were told then that each application differs from case to case but can be proccessed as soon as 1 month and can also take upto 3 months depending on each case. Thanking you in advance

I don't know the exact date my friend submit the visa application. I know it was in July sometimes. She collected her passport with visa on the 8th of August from VFS chennai. She told me it took 21 working days. I guess it depends on luck. some gets is quicker than others.

Thanks hmm, yes i guess your right just luck plus i was told now most of the student visa proccessing is over that they wont be as busy so visa times are quicker ?? dont know if this is true though

How long does it take for them to reply after the settlement interview?

Status: VISA Granted!

Total working days : 42
Total Calendar days: 62 (2 days holiday for BHC)

I received my visas on the 29th of Aug 2011. Me and wife are over the moon. We are so happy. We did have to wait a long time but it was worth the wait, so finally we can finally get on with our life. We had a interview on the 17th Aug 2011, we have done it.

Applied on the: 28/04/11
Interview Date: 17/08/11
Passport Collected Date: 29/08/11

Total working days: 84 Days

I'm a british citizen. My husband apllied for settlement visa back in june.

Application date: 11th June 2011 at Jalandhar
Current Status: Application is under process at the british high commision

Should I be expecting another staus message or will the next message state that the visa has been granted.

It'll be my 1st wedding anniversary next month and am dying to be with my husband. Please give my some feedback.
