Applied stamp under Zambrano ruling

Post by Irishmigrant » Tue Aug 30, 2011 7:51 pm

Hi all,

I had applied for stamp 4 under Zambrano judgement on 2nd august,2011. I checked through An Post tracking system and confirmed that the application was handed over to the Repatriation Division on 3rd august.
Now my visa is expiring on 15th September,2011. Till now I didn't receive any reply. Usually how long it takes for the approval? What can I do?

1. Extend the visa at the local Garda station? or

2. Wait for the reply from the INIS?

Can anyone suggest me?

Do you currently have Stamp 1/2/3 if so you dont need to get a permission from INIS just pop into your local District/Divisional HQ garda station to see immigration officer with appointment.
