COS online payment issue

Hello, everyone

I've been waiting for my company to issue me with a COS but I've been told that the UK border agency online payment system is down or not working properly at the moment. I heard it's an instantenous process but now have waited for almost one week.

Has anyone heard of such a problem currently with the online payment system?

Is there any other way my company could make a payment and get my COS number?

My company has been in touch with UKBA and they told us that IT is looking into but it's been way too long!
