Hi,

I applied for Tier 1 on 06.03.2011 and received my refusal letter on 24.08.11. I have been awarded points for Age, Income etc but not for qualificationa and the following reason is given in refusal letter

"WE HAVE ATTEMPTED TO VERIFY THE DOCUMENTS, USING STANDARD PROCEDURES, BUT HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO DO SO. THEREFORE BEEN UNABLE TO INCLUDE THIS EVIDENCE IN OUR CONSIDERATION OF YOUR CLAIM FOR POINTS FOR QUALIFICATION"

HO has also retained the degree and marksheet and gave me the right to appeal. My current leave as PSW expired on 17.04.2011. I have lodged an appeal now with the letter received from GUJARAT UNIVERSITY that I have passed out and awarded the Master Degree in 2004. Will this evidence be enough as I tried to get the degree authenticated by Indian Embassy but the procedure is too long and I need originals for this.

Does someone know what procedure HO follow while verifying education documents?

I also have Bachelors degree. Can I produce the same at the time of appeal as I believe no additional documents submitted now days while appeal?

My company already ready to give me COS but can I put a new while my appeal is under consideration as the current leave already expired on 17.04.2011.
