Nationality on forms

Post by creb99 » Mon Sep 05, 2011 8:08 am

I got my Irish passport a few weeks ago and now I need to complete a EEA Family permit to allow my son to enter the UK on a visit.

When asked for my nationality I am, do I enter Irish or my original nationality?

I am worried if I don't say Irish that they would reject the application.

Thanks a lot.

Does anybody know if my son needs to be present when the application is made? He is in school and would not like to take him out if not needed.

Yes UK authorities take biometrics (finger prints etc) so attendance is a must.

Even after writing Irish as your Nationality/Citizenship...........You might be asked "Where are you from originally" (am not kidding, happened to a mate of mine!) :)
'If you compare yourself to others, you may become vain and bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself'............DESIDERATA
