After Tier 2 ICT Resignation, can I stay for 2 mnts on visa?

Hello Experts.

I am looking to see your advise on Tier 2 ICT visa and ILR related situation.

I am currently working in UK on Tier 2 ICT visa, which was first issued to me before April 2008 and since then it has been extended by my employer couple of times.

Now, My job with this employer is ending on 30th Dec 2011, however I have valid permission to stay in Uk of more than 6 months after this date.

Please, May I request you to advise about how much validity will I have once my job ends in December.

1) Will it be ok if I stay in UK until 28th Feb 2012 after my job end in December 2011 ?

2) if yes, do I need to inform UKBA and take necessary approval? (just wondering if it will create any problem when I will leave UK )

3) if I get job in Feb end, I will be completing 5 yrs in Aug 2012, (ICT + general ).So does this mean that because of employment gap I won't be eligible for ILR (probably clock will reset due to gap between leaving old employer and joining new one)

I would really appreciate your valuable suggestion/advise in this regard.

I can, upto 60 days maximum.

Can you please provide the link where you got this information (maximum 60 days as you said). Also I'm not sure how you can change the employer within UK as ICT won't be allowed to switch to Tier 2 general within UK.
