HSMP Judicial Review Second Extension -- Which Form?

Post by kumarr » Sun Sep 04, 2011 12:49 am

Friends,

My situation is unique. I know that candidates covered by Judicial Review schema don't have to apply for second extension if the short fall for the settlement is less than 3 months. But in my case the short fall is 3.5 months and I was away from UK for 5.5 months in between, hence I believe I need to apply for second extension, now my question is, which form should I use?

My situation is explained below

1) I got my initial HSMP approval letter in Jun 2006
2) Entry clearance in Sep 2006, visa is for 2 years
3) Entered UK in Jan 2007
4) I was away from UK between Nov 2007 to Mar 2008
5) Applied for First extension in Sep 2008 under HSMP Judicial Review, new visa valid till Oct 2011. Please note my visa after extension is called 'Tier 1 (General) '

Now I have to apply for second extension, My doubt us which form should I use, as per UKBA website, for extention under HSMP JR Review scheme, one should use FLR TIER 1 (HSMP) form, but it is not clear whether this is applicable for the second extension as well?

If someone gone thru the same problem or knows about it, please share your experience / provide your advise.

Thanks very much in advance.

Regards,
Kumar

Good to hear!

Makes me think that the team handling non-PBS applications may be different from that assessing PBS / Tier 1 (General) applications ... hence the quick turnaround!
