I am not sure whether to apply for ILR? PLS help me!!!

Hi ,
i am new to this forum. Jut joined today hoping I will get the solution to my problem.
In Dec. 2006 I came to Uk as a student nurse to do ONP training and it took about a year by the time I finished my ONP and waited for result and to get NMC Pin number. After a year I applied for workpermit, first I was rejected and after reconsideration I got 5 years workpermit. Then I changed my employed and now I am in Tier 2 skilled migrant visa.
It will be 5 year this december.
My question is that the time spent as a student nurse, does it count towards continuous stay for ILR?
I am really confused some of them says it does and some says no ???
Please help me!!!

No, you count five years from the time you were granted leave with work permit.

ILR given if.... you accumulate 5 years on work permit and/or tier 2

Alternatively, 10 years if you combine student visa plus work permit plus tier 2
