Then it seems that it was indeed a correct refusal. You can continue to extend your leave until you have made five years. The new residence period started when you returned to the UK.uk_2010 wrote:No I was not paid in UK for 8 months when I was absent. It was deputation back to other country and I was paid salary in that country.
