Your next status will change to "Processed application sent to you via Blue Dart" U will only get to know about your outcome once u get courier if u have paid 200 to VFS otherwise u will have to go to application center to collect it...

My husband didnt pay for the passport to be couriered so I believe he'll have to collect it from the visa centre...

We've gone into the 8th week so I'm hoping sooner than later...suppose we all are :)

I applied for my wife's settle visa at mumbai VFS on July 22nd, as yet no visa or response from BHC to her emails.

Can anyone give a tel number for the BHc in mumbai?

Thank You

Hi MOJ, i think the number is 91 22 66502222, but im sure all they wil say is " it is still under process" and no guidance to how long it will take. If you look at previos posts of people who have called them, they all seem to get that same response, but i guess its allways worth a try. Good luck to you and hope your visa arrives soon

Thanks leic-viz. all the best for your wifes application too....

life should be easy. once your married to someone, you should be able to be together regardless of where each of you live! there should be no immigration rules!

welome sohni, thats right the reason you marry someone is to be with the one you love, its sooo cruel keeping us waiting like this and if you contact the BHC regarding application status they dont even want to help you, the least they could do is tell where our applications at and a rough time guide on how much longer the wait is rather then a 3 month time guide !!!! your right immigration sucks !!!!

hey ejaz hows your appeal coming along ?? any news or updates ??

Well said...

I think i might just email the visa centre and try to get an update. Something is better than nothing. They may be able to provide me with a time plan.

Would anyway have a contact number or email address for the Jalandhar office?

Thanks

Hi sohni,

in new here so not sure about all the contact details but i think your visa will be processed in new dehli and think there contact details are as followed Call centre telephone: (040) 6630 5600 and email visqry.newdelhi@fco.gov.uk, but i warn you there useless and will just tell you it is being processed ( thats the idea i get looking at previos posts on here )

Are there any more people who have applied in the month of august ???

this forum has seemed to go very quiet since ive joined ???
