Trying to book biometric appointment online....

The instructions on the letter received from the UK Border Agency states to go to http://ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/book-appointment and select the option 'I have applied by post'. Now I've looked everywhere to my knowledge, and I can't even see that option.

We've registered a login, and there's a dropdown list of services to select. Do we just select the type of VISA (FLR M) for a biometrics appointment?

I would just call them to book it, but as someone is driving us there, we need to find a date and time that they're available too.

I don't think so. That option should be selected when applying in person for FLR(M) extension.

There's "BRP (RC)" in the (service ID) list but AIUI that is only to be used when applying for a BRP replacement (lost / damaged / change of details)!

Best that you call UKBA and double-check which service ID to use for "enrolling biometrics only".

Thank you. We called them and booked over the phone.

Apparently they've recently made changes to the online booking system, and we were told it's been up and down for a few weeks now. They're still trying to catch the Gremlins.
