Tier 1 dependent extension out of country

Post by spzenthil » Sat Sep 10, 2011 12:46 am

Hi,

My Tier 1 extension is due on June 2012 along with my wife's. My wife will be in India during that time for delivery of our child, so I am bit confused how the extension of mine will be done.

I can apply for my wife's extension only after getting extension right?
In that case her visa would have already expired, so should I make new application separately for my wife and my child?
Will there be any problem for my wife's visa extension since the visa would have got expired and would be a new application?

Has anybody faced similar issues or thoughts on how to handle this?

Appreciate any inputs.

Thanks in advance,
-Senthil

Thanks Sushdmehta. It was really quick and helpful.

So it is going to be treated as a new application as I thought. My only concern is will it affect getting the "Entry Clearance" because it was not extended and going as a fresh application.

Cheers!!
