Hi Friends
I have applied TIER1 Dependent Visa for my Wife ,Actually i was not aware of 800(Self funds) .I was aware of only 1600 pounds, shown on my Wife's bank account . So I think the Visa will get reject because of my mistake . So i have to wait for three more months . Mean while I am planning to apply for a visitor Visa.
So after three months she can go back to home country and will apply again TIER1 Dependent. Is it possible to apply for a visitor Visa for now ?
Also after three months I am going to apply for dependent visa again for my wife so during that Do i need show funds on my account or can I show funds(MAIN APPLICANT FUNDS + Dependent Funds) on my wife account also ?

You have not made a mistake. Wait for the decision rather than jumping to conclusions.

Your comments above is worrying because it indicates to me that you did not do enough homework before filling something as important as a visa application form.
Anyways, how many months have you been in the UK for?

Whether funds are in your account or your wife account they should be acceptable. I am not sure about switching from TiG dependant to visit visa in the UK but I know that visit visa cannot be switched to any other visa within the country.

You will be
OKAYto be honest so long as there are no issues with other documents.
£1600 is sufficient since your spouse is applying separately. You, the main applicant does not need to re-present your own maintenance funds.
Good luck

Dear Friends
Got status of the Visa and Visa is refused saying that not enough maint. funds
they are expecting maint. funds 2800 for me and 1600 for dependent.
They clearly specified that i need to show 2800 if less than 12 months of stay in UK
and In case of beyond 12months of stay in UK i need to show 800 + 535
So Sad...Need to wait for three more months to apply

In My wife's Visa refusal letter the below comments are given by the Visa Officer :
I need to show 2800 + 1600 if less than 12 months of stay in UK
and In case of beyond 12months of stay in UK i need to show 800 + 535

You have been handed an incorrect refusal by an incompetent ECO (and it's not the first time with this category). The guidance is partly to blame as it's rather confusing but when you appeal (and you must appeal) you can cite Appendix E of the immigration rules.

They give a lot of surprises. I think each ECO interperates the law in his/her own way. So it is advisable to keep at least £2800 in your own account in UK or abroad. Your spouse can keep in her own account the remaining £1600.
£800 is surely enough after 12 months of your arrival in the UK.
lets get together for migrants' rights

For any Tier1 GM in UK for less than 12 months,
maintenance funds(for 1 dependent) = 1600(dependent) + 800 (self)
Please read below:
Clause 42 and 44:
For example, the Tier 1 Migrant has been in the UK for 6 months and is making an application 44. at the same time as his/her spouse and two children. He/she must show that he/she has £1600 for his spouse and a further £1600 for each child, in addition to £800 required for his/her own support. In total the family will require evidence that they hold £5600 in available funds (£1600 x 3 = £4800 + £800).

You've dug out an old thread to make your first post and the information you are assuming (rather than know) is completely incorrect! PBS migrants are not required to show maintenance (in addition) if they are not applying at the same time as their dependants.

Luca,
Can you throw some light on your below statement?
PBS migrants are not required to show maintenance (in addition) if they are not applying at the same time as their dependants.
