UK Citizen, Indian Wife with PR, visiting Spain

Hi Guys,

I am a british citizen and my wife is an Indian citizen with permanent residence in the UK.

Her initial visa says "SPOUSE" on the visa, the indefinate leave to remain (permanent residence) in the UK stuck to her passport does not say "SPOUSE", only:

Type of Permit: Settlement
Remarks: Indefinite Leave to Remain.

Does she require a VISA to travel to Spain? We are travelling together.

The Spanish embassy has some of the rudest and least knowledgeable employees in the visa section. Expect problems and be overjoyed if they do not happen!

Have you considered visiting Germany instead? You can get the visa by post!
