Tier 1 (General) - Joint bank account question

Post by amit_kos » Tue Sep 13, 2011 6:44 pm

Dear all,

I have a joint bank account with my wife. My Tier 1 General visa runs out next year, so will be filing application for extension. My wife will be applying as my dependant. We are in the UK now.

Will there be any problem extending the visa if we have a joint account? We do not own any other account and my wife's salary (along with mine) come in this account.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for your time.

Cheers,
Amit

Similar situation, that is, me and my wife are joint account holders in each other's salary account but both of us will be extending our respective Tier -1s (no dependent visa). Could there be any issue in this case? Any additional documentation required perhaps?

Cheers,
nks

Not at all a problem but Page 46 needs to be filled and Signed by the joint account holder
