I just know that EU citizens MUST have privat inssurance and not use NHS to be able to apply for BC. No info about NON EU. but for a matter like this you should speack to Home Office or Immigration Lawyer.armand wrote:hi
Iam non eea memmber .i got pr 15 agust 2011 but my wife was student sept 2005 . 2006, 2007,2008 working 2009 self sufficient,10,11 student, I went to apply for bc , she phoned ho,then ncs say ur wife must have insurance then u can apply . they not accept it . even i said ukba accept my pr without insurance, can some one clarify for me plz shall i send by postal or wait till 15 agust 2012.

Did you wife apply for a Residence Certificate as a EEA national as a student? Because although CSI is required, the HO is waiving this requirement if you have applied for Residence Certificate (EEA1 application) as a student before June 2011. If this is the case, I would either try another NCS or postal application. If you prefer not to take the risk and willing to wait, then just wait until August 2012 and you will not need to provide your wife history when applying.armand wrote:hi
