Premium service + delay for enquiries

Post by Landing » Fri Sep 16, 2011 10:36 pm

Hello. The FAQ section talks about the premium service being no guarantee of a same day decision if the case worker needs to make enquiries.
Is there any need to get alarmed when this (delay) happens? (Application for ILR after 5 years). All documents were checked by an OISC Immigration Specialist who then presented the documents to the Home Office.
Can anyone tell me what the success rate is for ILR when an Immigration specialist (along with the premium service) is used. Is it optomistic to think this would be near 100% if the documents have been checked and double checked before submission?
The FAQ talks about the case then going into the "postal queue". Does that seem cheeky when the Home Office have banked the cheque for the premium service?!!
Any comments or experiences would be most welcome. Thank you.

Hi,

I think there is nothing to be worried about. If they have doubt about any document, they get it checked through independent sources. Since the OISC advisor has already check the documents, there shouldn't be any problem. If there could be problem the advisor would have told you before hand.

Other thing is you have explained every bit to your advisor. However, with home office case worker the situation is slightly different. They have to check your documents and then draw a conclusion and/or decision about your case.

So don't worry, evvery thing will be all right.

Cheers,
The question is... to be or not to be....
