Tier 1 General Extension Query on previous passport in Form

hi all,
my visa is expiring on 21/10/11
Can i apply for extension now. as on the UKBA website it says you should not apply before 4 weeks.

but here http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewto ... &start=100 some one has same criteria as me and he has got extension

6. Ack letter with reference no received :05 Aug 2011
7. Bio-Metric Letter received : 08 Aug 2011
8. Date of biometrics enrolment : 12 Aug 2011
9. Date (new) leave to remain valid from : 06 Sep 2011
10. Date (new) leave to remain valid to: 21 Oct 2013
11. Date passport / BRP received : 08 Sep 2011

You can apply to extend at any time. The reason the guidance (Para 45) says/suggests applying no earlier than 4 weeks is because if you do, you will create a gap in your five year residence period that will need another application before you can apply for ILR. Obviously some people apply early for reasons of being able to score points now where they may not be able to do so in the future.

hi all,
i am going to apply for Tier 1 general Extension. I have following query for form.

D5 Are either the applicant’s current and/or any one of his/her previous passport(s) or travel document(s) that he/she has used to travel to, and remain in, the United Kingdom which shows his/her current leave unavailable?
Yes
- go to question D6
No
- go to question D11

I have only one passport with the Tier 1 stamp. Does i have to Tick No & got to Question D11 or i have to Tick Yes & Give My journey details in Question D7 to D10

If your current passport has valid visa , I dont think you should worry about previous passport.
