Has anyone applied PSW with Lloyds TSB bank statement?

Post by monkey mint » Tue Sep 20, 2011 6:07 pm

Hello,

I would appreciate if anyone let me know about this:

My main bank is Lloyds TSB.
So I need to submit their bank statement as a support letter to apply for PSW.
But the bank statement doesn't show my full name.
It shows like 'Mr. A. Smith' (first name is abbreviated).
I asked the bank to show my full name, but they said it's impossible.
I am wondering if I can get PSW without showing my full name on the bank statement...
If anyone has already got PSW by submitting Lloyds statement, please let me know if it was accepted or not.

Thank you for your help in advance.

I don't think there's any problem.
My husband's got PSW visa ok with Lloyds statement.
Anyway, policy guidance doesn't say it must be full name, does it?

Thank you for the reply.
Policy guidance doesn't say 'full name', just 'your name' it says.
But I was worried home office might be very strict about it...
Anyway, thanks a lot!

Yes..I totally understand you were worried. My husband's statement also shows 'Mr A Smith' and I once wondered if it's ok.
But no worries. ;-)
