what is criminal convictions (including traffic offences)?

Hi,
I have got a fixed penalty (non- endorsable offense) contravening Red attention with bicycle,which i have paid the fine already.
i just wondering,what should be the answer for below question at the visa application form?


1. Has the student had any criminal convictions in the United Kingdom or any other country (including traffic offences) or any civil judgments made against them (i)?

I had same thing. You must mention whatever happened.

You already got punishment, so no need to be scared.

If you do not disclose, then consequences would be severe if they find out.
