Out of Country WP Renewal

Hello Forum,

A quick question please -
I entered U.K on WP1 (2 years validity), stayed for 5 months and then went back to India to get it changed to another WP i.e WP2. I stayed in India for about 45 days before coming back to U.K on WP2. My WP1 was valid while this changeover was happening and during these 45 days I had a rented house in U.K and was economically active, although a very less allowance in GBP was being paid since I was based out of U.K at that time. Is this considered a break in residency or can the initial 5 months period be counted towards 5 year stay ?
