Tier 1 Dependent From India

Post by shargaur » Sun Sep 25, 2011 12:17 am

Hi Friends,

First of all, I would like to share that I am getting married in December.
I need guidance from you all experience person on board how can I make Tier 1 Dependent Visa process smooth for my to-be wife.

My Details

1) Came to UK on Tier 2 on 2-Feb-2010
2) Changed to Tier-1 on 14th July 2010. Visa Valid till 14th July 2011.

I have read and I think I need to show following documents.

1) Marriage Certificate from Magistrate
2) Bank Statement for last 3 months showing funds of more than 533 quids.

Any pointers to existing information would be highly appreciated.

Thanks in Advance.

Thanks Vinny,

I was looking for what documents need to be presented.

I am planning to submit following documents.

1) Letter from my organization that I am full time employ.
2) 3 Months Bank Statement.

Do you think anything else needed for dependent from my end.

Thanks

You also need to provide a copy of your passport - the page containing your current status.

It may also be helpful to include a few things to support the "subsisting relationship" requirement. You could include a few emails or phone bill highlighting calls you made to your fiancee, Skype chats or anything that can show the relationship is subsisting. Some people also find it helpful to include wedding photos or anything you want the caseworker to see to convince them about your marriage.
