Hi root:

Yes you are right but you got your reference number via e-mail, I got mine via snail mail (normal post) on 16th of August..

I personally didn't made any call to HO. I dont know but I personally feel it dosen't matter either you call or not..

ok guys.

Some news:

Today I was told that my case is with "caseworking team" and waiting to be assinged to a caseworker. Looks like initially application will be in Queue before moving to "caseworking team" and eventually to caseworker.

So, next few days a caseworker should take up my case, if God wills :)

approval

Post by krage » Tue Sep 05, 2006 4:52 pm

I got approval letter today!

So, over all it took only 8 days from the day my docs were received until I got the email that my docs are ready for collection.

Country of residence: USA
Received: 23 August
CC charged: 23 August
Ref number emailed: 31 August
Docs ready for collection: 31 August (3 hours later!)

Courier collected: September 4
Received via UPS: September 5

I have to admit that I provided all documents and my case was supposed to be very clear.

Some info for you, guys.
When DHL refused to pick up my docs from HSMP Team, I started looking for courier service. After 3 hours talking over the phone to various services I found the one below. It is a child company of UPS. They charged only 15 for courier then packed signed and sent my docs via UPS. Very professional service. They take instructions over email, the manager’s name is Frank. I recommend their services, just tell them to send your package with signature required options.

See the email on the right

Hope it is helpful!

P.S. Not a US citizen

KRage,

Thats really fast. Did you send any urgent treatment form? Thanks for the info on Pick-up service.

Any idea of whether can we arrange for collection of docs via MBE without informing prior in the HSMP application form. Will HO entertain such requests?

Thanks,
touk

Yes you can, I had send a DHL waybill with my application but DHL refused to pick it up. When I talked to my caseworker I told him someone from MBE will pick up the package and he told me to fax him the details about who is going to pick up the package when and he told me what exact building he was in

You will have to tell exact building to MBE person and he will go and pick up the package and even sign the waybill for you :)

Thanks pateketu,

My case is still not assigned a case worker, Maybe I will send a email to HO asking them to notify me when the docs are ready for collection. Then I will arrange for the collection of docs through MBE.

Pateketu, Can you tell me how you established contact with your caseworker? Will the HO direct line operator give the case worker email-id?

believe in destiny, jo allah ki marzi

Urgent - Need info!

Post by hsmp2006 » Mon Sep 11, 2006 9:21 am

All

Looks like decision has been made for my case and documents dispatched through air-mail on 7-Sep (exactly after 1-month).

Is it possible to find out the decision before I get official documents? If yes, please pass on numbers. Secondly, how long would it take to get these documents via air mail. I reside in Bangalore, India.

Thanks,
