Dependent visa - account statements

I am showing two account statements for maintenance funds

1. Barclays UK from 1st June 2011 to 6th Sep 2011 with 2800 GBP for the main application

2. ICICI India for from 1st June 2011 to 16 Sep 2011 with 1600 GBP for the apllication (dependent).

Does these accounts statements should have same start and end dates?

Also, if I want to give a bank letter confirming minimum balance from ICICI, would the dates be same as the account statement of ICICI?
