Swiss work visa process question?

I am indian IT guy working in london, Swiss employer is offering the job in zurich but they are not interested to go through work visa process.
If i get the employment offer letter, can i process the work visa myself. Please advise?

I doubt many people here know the procedure. Judging from http://ch.vfsglobal.co.uk/workpermit.html it appears that you will have to do the application yourself. But that's just a guess.
