can somebody tell me when tax is payed to hmrc through the post office does it get to the hmrc on the same day

Hi to my understanding you have to submit ALL originals, that's what my solicitor told me. Good Luck sis!

heyy..ONLY originals are required as per the new rules.Gerry's will accept only originals and return u the copies even if u take it wth u.
I know they shud confirm this on call wen u take an appointment but they dont.
They will send only the originals to the embassy.
Just have ur NIC and Passport copy..thts it.

All docs must be originals except sponsors passport which has to be certified.

I think FedEx will want the originals plus one copies (of originals).

You keep a copy for your own self.

hey i am sayin this in case u r applying from pakistan.I just applied sum weeks back and took originals and a set of copies too.Gerry's returned the copies saying we do not require it anymore.ONLY the originals would be sent to the high commission by post.
A set of copy shud be kept for one's own self.
I am not sure about the process of FedEx..

ok so he doesnt submit his NIC too?..he jus makes a copy of it and puts that wiv his docs..i need to tel him by TODAY so its al sorted out for tomorow..we'r submitin them tmrow inshallah

hi, i recently applied for my husbands visa and it was refused as they said my employment is not as claimed.i have been working for over 2 years and am now on maternity leave and paid weekly, i also claim child benefit, working and child tax credit for my month old son. can i appeal..? and am i still counted as employed while on maternity leave?

He will need the id card (original) to collect his documents when they are done, the staff at Gerry's will not let him in without an ID. So you submit a photo copy I believe.

Salaam peeps

By the grace of Allah Almighty my wife visa has been granted today. Here is the times scale of my wife application

Application submitted : 04/07/11
Under Process: 11/07/11
Visa Stamped; 22/09/11
Passport collected: 26/09/11

Can someone please advise if the TB certificate needs to renewed before travelling to UK as my wife 's one will expire on 30.09.11

I have been told that its better to get it renewed as it can delay the process of clearing through immigration at any of UK based airport.

Oh yeah no interview call came through just email was sent from Islamabad to my employer for employee confirmation 4 days before the visa issue date. I started my new job with the employer a month before the application was submitted.

With the TB test how quick does one obtain their certificate?

Is it same day or later?

I've heard there are new regulations with the TB testing now. You have to book an appointment before hand and also you will get the certificate after 7 days.

Any truth in this??

@xnailax . i have submitted my application on 7th sep in islamabad . its under process at BHC since 20 sep. my spouse lives with parents ,doing a part time job.her weekly income is 130 pounds . is it sufficient ? i'm a bit worried about the income .
could you pleas tell me about ur weekly income ? you also living with parents?

Salam brother I am good thanks and how are you? Inshallah we are sending off documents hopefully by the end of this week. Make dua, we are going for review and appeal, Inshallah it should be over-turned on review! Just keep making dua for us! The wait is soo long, but Alhumdhulila I am trying to keep patient, as Allah is the most merciful.
